The seminars take place in classrooms all over the site. Upon arrival, please go straight to the Speaker Reception in the "Shades" building to sign in (staff will direct you). A member of staff will be on hand to help you find your room and set up. Scroll down to see important information for Speakers and the fantastic seminars on offer:

Seminar Duration

Seminar slots are 50 minutes long.

Registration

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your talk to allow time to meet up with your staff host at the Speaker Registration desk. Alternatively, If you are already at the exhibition, please report to the Exhibitor Registration desk 20 minutes before your start time so we can get you to the Speaker Registration desk.

WiFi

There will be free WiFi available across the site, the access code will be given to you on the day. Please note the wi-fi will not work if you use a VPN on your device. 

Presenting

All rooms are equipped with appropriate AV and IT facilities for presenting. 

If you are bringing your own device to present from, please bring the connecting cables / adapters you need to link up to AV equipment. (We have standard HDMI.)

Please upload your presentation to this drive. (Look for a folder with the name of your organisation and save in there.) Unfortunately we are not allowed to use USB sticks.

Note: Due to the College network restricting access to some websites, you may not be able to link directly to videos.  If you are linking to/ streaming videos from the internet in your presentation, please email us the links and we can check access.

Catering

Light refreshments will be provided from 08.30 for those delivering seminars early in the day. Please bring your own water bottle which you can refill at the water coolers in College. A range of sandwiches will be available for speakers delivering talks at lunchtime.
